Police Reports 3/15-3/16

Arrest: Occurred on 3/16 at 3:23 AM- Naples Rd.

Officers observed a suspicious vehicle on Naples Rd. Officers ran the information of a Toyota Camry that was parked on Naples Rd. The query revealed that the plates belonged to a Toyota Yaris and that the Camry did not have a valid registration associated with the vehicle. The query also revealed that the owner of the registered plates had a suspended license and a straight warrant out of Cambridge District Court. While investigating the vehicle, the owner approached the officers. She was placed under arrest for the warrant and will be summonsed to court for Unregistered MV and attaching plates.

OUIL: Occurred on 3/16 at 2:23 AM- Washington St.

A vehicle was traveling on Harvard St. at a high rate of speed. The vehicle turned right onto Washington St., where the officer conducted a traffic stop. Upon reaching the vehicle, the officer could detect a strong odor of alcohol. Based on the observations, the driver was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of liquor.

Arrest: Occurred on 3/16 at 1:20 AM- Harvard St.

A BMW was traveling on Harvard St. with an expired registration sticker attached to the rear plate. A query of the vehicle’s information revealed that the registration was expired. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was revoked. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with Operating after Revocation and Expired Registration.
