Police Reports 3/14-3/15

OUIL: Occurred on 3/15 at 1:51 AM- Centre St.

A Lexus SUV took an illegal left turn from Harvard St. onto Beacon St. The vehicle then took a right onto Centre St. and pulled into the Centre St. parking lot where the officer conducted a traffic stop. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was revoked. Upon talking to the operator, the officer could detect an odor of alcohol emanating from his person. Based on the observations, the driver was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor. The driver was charged with OUIL, Operating after Revocation, and traffic offenses.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 3/14 at 4:00 PM- Harvard St.

A loss prevention employee at T.J. Maxx reported a shoplifting. The employee stated that he observed an individual concealing items in a sweatshirt. The employee approached the subject and was able to recover the merchandise. The subject was placed under arrest for shoplifting.

Larceny: Occurred between 3/8 and 3/10- Glenn Rd.

A Glenn Rd. resident reported a past larceny. The victim stated that on 3/10 he noticed that his bicycle was missing from a shared garage underneath his residence. The victim stated that the garage can only be accessed with a remote control.
