Friday, September 21st


11:05 AM- A report of a shoplifting incident was made at a store on Harvard Street.  An officer was made aware by a store employee while patrolling that around 10:47 AM an unknown white male wearing a dark blue t-shirt, gray shorts, gray sneakers, with a Boston Red Sox shoulder bag entered the store from the Harvard Street side and made his way over to the merchandise table.  The contents of the table were women’s t-shirts.  The employee reported she then saw the man quickly start making his way towards the rear entrance of the store with what appeared to be a white GAP brand t-shirt with tags still on it.  He exited the store around 10:50 AM to the Centre St lot and left in an unknown direction.  Officers canvassed the area with nothing showing.  Surveillance footage confirms the employees reported information.  This case is under investigation.

11:40 AM- Officers were dispatched to Station Street for a larceny report.  The complainant stated on 9/20/18 around 1:00 PM she was alone when she went out back to place a bag of trash into the dumpster.  She stated that the front and back doors were left unlocked and that the company is open to the public.   There were no customers inside the studio at the time she left to take the trash out.  When she returned several minutes later she observed that someone had gone through her purse and taken her wallet.  This case is being investigated.

1:27 PM- Officers were dispatched to Summit Ave for a report of a larceny of a moped.  The reporting party stated the prior evening on 9/20/18 around 4:00 PM he remembers seeing his scooter, a black Genuine Roughouse, chained to a basketball hoop stand in their driveway.  When he woke up on the morning of 9/21/18 around 7:00 AM the scooter was gone.  The chain was found still locked and attached to the basketball hoop stand.  The lock had been attached to the front wheel of the scooter.  This case is under investigation.
