9-12 thru 9-14

9-14-2017

On 09/14/2017 officers responded to an address on Washington Street to confirm that a previously missing person had returned home.


On Tuesday August 22, 2017  Officers observed two sedans travelling at a high rate of speed on the westbound side of route 9. One vehicle was a black late model Toyota Sedan and the other vehicle was a white late model ford. Route 9 is a public way in the Town of Brookline. The Officers were able to stop the Toyota, and subsequently issued a  Massachusetts uniform citation for MGL 90:17B/A Drag racing. $500.00 fine


On 09/13/17 Officers responded to an address on Druce St. for a past Breaking and Entry, and Larceny From a Motor Vehicle.  The victim reports parking his car in his driveway, and when he returned he realized the vehicle had been rummaged through. Taken were two rolls of quarters. A file report was filed.


On Wednesday September 13, 2017 Officers responded to an address on Harvard Street for the report of a larceny that had just taken place. Officers quickly responded and were able to locate a subject fitting the description given out by the victim. The subject was in possession of the stolen items, and was advised he will be summonsed in for:
CH:266 SEC 30A: Larceny Shoplifting under $50.


On 09/14/17 Officers responded to an address on Parkman St for a larceny report. The victim reports he received confirmation from FedEx that the  Microsoft Surface Pro 4 he ordered had arrived. When he got home he found the package in his door way but the package had been opened and the Microsoft Surface Pro had been taken.
The Microsoft Surface Pro was entered into CJIS.  A report was filed.


On Tuesday 09-12-17 a citizen came to the Brookline Police Station to report a stolen Bicycle. The victim reports the bike was taken from his garage.  A report was filed.

On 9/14/17 , Officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Boylston Street/ Cypress Street. Officers queried a plate in traffic and discovered the registered owner had an expired license. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver will be summonsed into Brookline District Court for the following offense: (MGL 90:10) Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed operator.
