On September 9, 2017, Officers responded to an address on
Beacon Street for a report of an Attempted B&E. Detectives were called to the scene to process for prints.
The reporting party was advised to make the security footage available for
Detectives to view.
On Friday 9/8/2017 while driving in traffic, Officers
observed a white Ferrari and after a plate query through the cruiser
laptop it was revealed that the registration status was
Suspended/Non-Renewal. Officers conducted a traffic stop on St Paul St and
Browne St. The driver received a citation for
90/23A Operating after Suspended Registration
90/20 Uninspected Motor Vehicle.
The vehicle was towed and the plates were confiscated.

On Friday September 8th, 2017 Officers responded to an
address on St Paul St for a report of an individual who broke the rear window
glass and attempted to gain entry into the building. After an investigation it
was determined that the subject lived at the location and had lost his keys,
breaking the window to gain access. Alcohol may have played a part.
About 0238hrs, on Friday, September 09, 2017, Officers
responded to an address on Winthrop Rd for a noise complaint. While on scene
all officers could hear loud music and yelling coming from an apartment. The
residents were identified and each was issued $100 fines for Nuisance By-law violation.
The party was ended.
On 9/9/2017 Officers responded to an address on Kent St. for
a report of a residential breaking and entering that had occurred within the
last three hours. It is believed the suspect made entry into the home via a
bedroom window. Multiple items were reportedly taken. Detectives arrived on
scene to process for prints. A report was filed.
On Saturday, 09/09/17 a citizen arrived at the Brookline
Police Station to report credit card fraud. The victim was looking to file a
report for unauthorized fraudulent charges on their credit card. The charges
were made in CA while the victim reports never leaving MA. A report was filed
and the victim was advised to cancel the card.
On Saturday 9/9/2017 Officers responded to an address on Freeman St for a loud party complaint.
Upon arrival officers could hear loud music and loud talking
from inside the apartment. There were approximately 15 people inside the
apartment and the noise was excessive for the time of night. The resident shut
the party down and all guests left for the evening. The resident was issued
Town By-Law Citation, Nuisance Control Violation ($100 Fine).
On 9/10/2017 Officers were dispatched to Pierce Playground
for a found backpack. The backpack contained a lunch box, planner, and homework
folder. It appears as though the bag belongs to a 5TH grader. There
was no last name on any of the papers. The backpack was placed in an evidence
bag and placed the bag into evidence locker.
On September 10, 2017, Officers while conducting traffic
stopped a vehicle for excessive speeding on Washington St. It was learned that
the driver had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was placed under
arrest for the outstanding warrant, fail to stay in marked lanes, improper
passing, speeding and not duly licensed.
