9/19 - 9/20

O.U.I.L: 09/19/2013 at 5:38 p.m. – Beacon St./ Carlton

An officer was dispatched to Beacon St. after receiving a report of an erratic driver. Upon arriving at the scene, the officer saw the vehicle in question had struck another vehicle and both were parked in the left travel lane. While speaking with the suspect, the officer noticed the suspect had trouble focusing, slurred his speech, and had bloodshot eyes. Based upon these observations the officer concluded the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor.

Sector 3

Operating After Suspension: 09/19/2013 at 1:38 p.m. – Harvard St.

An officer observed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of the driver’s information revealed he had a suspended license. The driver was issued a citation for Operating After Suspension.

Sector 4

Larceny: 09/18/2013 at 6:30 p.m. – Harvard St.

An officer was dispatched to Harvard St. after receiving a report of larceny. The officer was met by the victim who stated she left her unlocked bicycle in the parking garage. When she returned for it several hours later, the bike was missing. A request to view the garage’s video surveillance has been filed.

Sector 8

Operating After Suspension: 09/20/2013 at 2:20 a.m. – Boylston St./ Hammond St.

An officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Boylston St., right before Hammond St. A query of the driver’s information revealed he had a suspended license. He was placed under arrest for Operating After Suspension. An inventory of the vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing over an ounce of marijuana. The driver was also charged with Possession of a Class D Drug.
