9/20 - 9/23


Sector 1


Suspicious Activity: 09/20/2013 at 3:48 p.m. – St. Paul St.

 

An officer received a report concerning a suspicious individual. According to the victim, a suspicious male has followed her home every day after school for the past week. The victim described the suspect as a tall, white male with red, curly hair in his early twenties.

 

Malicious Damage: 09/22.2013 at 6:10 a.m. – St. Paul St.

 

An officer was dispatched to St. Paul St. after receiving a report of Malicious Damage to Property. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who stated he was awoken at six in the morning by a loud bang from the rooftop. The victim stated he went up to the roof around seven and saw damage to the television antenna, drain cover, door spring, and exhaust manifold.

 

Larceny: 09/22/2013 at 3:48 p.m. – Beacon St.

 

An officer was dispatched to a business on Beacon St. after receiving a report of larceny. The officer was met by an employee who stated she had just recently noticed three pairs of Coach eyeglasses missing from a display. The employee stated she noticed a suspicious woman in the area just moments before she noticed the eyeglasses were missing. The suspect was described as a white female with orange hair.



Sector 2



Possession of Drugs: 09/22/2013 at 1:01 a.m. – Harvard St./ Longwood Ave

 

An officer observed a vehicle with expired registration. The officer initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Harvard St. and Longwood Ave. A query of the driver’s information revealed he had a suspended license. Furthermore, the officer could detect a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The operator was placed under arrest for Operating After Suspension. A routine search of the vehicle revealed three plastic bags containing marijuana. Marijuana residue was also found in the car’s console area, around the gear shift, and on the floor of the car. The operator was additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class D Drug.

 


Sector 3


Larceny: 09/18/2013 at 5:00 p.m. – Beacon St.

 

On September 20, 2013 an officer received a report of a past larceny which occurred on Beacon St. The officer spoke with the victim who stated she had received a call from another police department informing her that her prescription pad had been used falsely. She informed the officer that it appeared as though several pages had been ripped from her prescription pad. In addition, she informed the officer that a small statue was missing from her desk. The victim stated a suspicious looking male was noticed in the office on September 18, 2013. The individual was described as a white male of average height, who had burn scarring on his face.

 

Larceny: 09/21/2013 at 3:30 p.m. – Westbourne Tr.

 

An officer was dispatched to Westbourne Tr. after receiving a report of larceny. Upon arrival, the officer was met by the victim who stated he had locked his bicycle to a tree using a wire lock. When he returned for it several hours later, the bike was missing.

 

 

Sector 4


Operating After Suspension: 09/21/2013 at 11:12 p.m. – Washington St./ Pond Ave.

 

An officer observed a vehicle without a valid inspection sticker. The officer initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Washington St. and Pond Ave. A query of the driver’s information revealed she had a suspended license. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating After Suspension.

 

 

 

Sector 5


Larceny: 09/19/2013 at 1:55 p.m. – Greenough St.

 

An officer received a report of a past larceny which occurred on Greenough St. The victim stated she left her IPhone 5 in an unlocked gym locker, while she attended class. She returned an hour later to find the phone missing.

 

Larceny: 09/19/2013 at 1:30 p.m. – Tappan St.

 

An officer received a report of a past larceny of an IPhone 4, which occurred on Tappan St. The victim stated she left her cell phone in her backpack in the girl’s locker room while she attended class. Upon returning from her class she saw her phone had been taken from her backpack.
