Police Reports 8/22

 OUIL: 8/23 at 1:40am - Longwood Ave at St Paul St
Officer observed a vehicle cross the marked double yellow line in front of a resident on Longwood Ave. As the officer approached the vehicle, he detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. Officer also observed that the operator had blood shot eyes. Operator was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor and Failure to Stay in Marked Lanes.

Warrant: 8/22 at 7:07pm – Beacon St
Officers observed a subject who was known to have 2 outstanding warrants for his arrest: Operating After Suspension and Number Plate Violation to Conceal ID.  Subject was placed under arrest for the warrants.

Attempted Larceny: 8/22 at 6:24pm – Winthrop Rd
Officer responded to a report of an attempted larceny of a bicycle. Witness stated that he observed a male subject leap over his neighbor’s fence and then observed a bicycle come over the fence from his neighbor's yard. Witness than stated that the subject then left the bicycle where it was and walked back up the driveway/walkway towards Winthrop Rd. Subject is described as a black male in his mid-20s, nicely dressed, wearing a white shirt, khaki pants, short cropped hair, lean build, approximately 5'10"

Larceny: July 15
Victim reported her TV stolen out of her apartment approximately one month ago. She initially believed the TV had been stolen, but dismissed this notion, and thought that it had just been misplaced. Officers noticed no evidence of forced entry and the doors and locks appear to be intact. No other electronics or other items of value have gone missing.
