We have received reports of people, specifically the elderly population, that the Brookline Fire Department has been soliciting donations for Dead/Injured Firefighters. At this time, the Brookline Fire Department is NOT holding any funds for donations. When they do hold donations, they do not contact private residents - only businesses.
