Police Reports 3/16-3/19

Arrest: Occurred on 3/18 at 9:50 PM- Harvard St.

A vehicle was traveling on Harvard St. with defective brake lights. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of a passenger’s information revealed that he had an active warrant out of Quincy District Court. The passenger was placed under arrest for the warrant.

Arrest: Occurred on 3/18 at 10:01 PM- St. Paul St./ Commonwealth Ave.

A Toyota Avalon failed to stop for the stop sign located at the intersection of Amory St and Dummer St. The officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of St. Paul St and Commonwealth Ave. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was revoked. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Revocation.

Breaking and Entering: Occurred on 3/18 at 1:12 AM- Beacon St.

Officers responded to a Beacon St. residence for a report of a live breaking and entering. The caller stated that a white male wearing a green hooded sweatshirt was sitting on his bed. Upon officers’ arrival, they observed a shattered window and broken screen, as well as a white male sitting on the edge of the bed. The white male was handcuffed and transported to the hospital for a laceration on his hand.

The resident stated that he was awoken by a loud noise in his bedroom. He stated that the suspect had shattered a window and climbed into the bedroom, sitting at the foot of the bed without saying anything. Another resident on the floor below stated that someone had tried to enter his apartment through a bedroom window. This resident stated that he saw someone’s leg coming through his window, but he shouted at the suspect and he left without entering. The suspect was charged with 2 counts of Breaking and Entering at Night, Malicious/Wanton Damage of Property, and Trespassing.

Disorderly Conduct: Occurred on 3/18 at 12:01 AM- Pleasant St.

Officers responded to a Pleasant St. address for a report of a suspicious person banging on the garage door. The officer observed a male subject kicking and punching the garage door, yelling for someone to let him in. The subject appeared to be intoxicated and the officer could smell an odor of alcohol emanating from his person. The subject was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.

Burglary: Occurred on 3/17- Alton Pl.

An Alton Pl. resident reported a past breaking and entering and larceny. The victim stated that he had gone to bed at 2:00 AM on 3/17 and woke up at 7:00 AM. The victim stated that when he awoke there were several items missing from his bedroom. There were no signs of forced entry.

Arrest: Occurred on 3/17 at 2:31 AM- Kent St.

A vehicle was traveling on Harvard St. at an unusually slow rate of speed as well as veering from side to side. The vehicle turned onto Kent St. where the officer conducted a traffic stop. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his right to operate a motor vehicle in Massachusetts was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

B&E Motor Vehicle: Occurred on 3/16- Browne St.

A Browne St. resident reported a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that he had parked his car on Browne St. at 4:20 PM. When he returned at 10:20 PM, he noticed the front passenger side window was broken. A GPS unit had been removed from the vehicle.
