September 21st Police Reports

Burglary

  • Occurred 9:57PM (9/21) – 1281 W Rox Pk

Police responded to a break in at a local golf shop. Upon arrival, police discovered golf balls in the driveway. Police found a smashed window at the front door of the shop. Several boxes of golf balls were found lying on the floor. The owner was contacted but he will contact police later with the detailed list as to what may have been taken during the break in.

Graffiti

  • Occurred between 11:30PM (9/20) and 9:02AM (9/21) – 111 Harvard St.

While on patrol police observed graffiti marks on a building that once was a former video store. Photos were taken of each mark. The individuals responsible for the property were contacted and notified of the damage.

  • Occurred between 12:30AM (9/21) and 8:00AM (9/21) – 14 Cypress St.

Victim contacted police in regards to graffiti marks on the fence of his house. Victim states tat the marks were done at some point overnight. Victim was in process of removing the tags upon police arrival.

Larceny

  • Occurred 11:08AM (9/21) – 1 Harvard St.

Victim reported that her bike was stolen from outside the local bank. Victim stated that she had left the bike against a pole. The bicycle was described as a Marlin brand men’s mountain bike.

  • Occurred between 3:36PM (9/16) and 1:46PM (9/21) – 338 St Paul St

Victim reported that some unknown individual had signed for a package that belonged to her. Victim states she is aware of the maintenance work occurring at the apartment where the package was signed at, but it has been vacant for a long time. Police are currently working on identifying the suspect.

  • Occurred between 7:45AM (9/21) and 2:33PM (9/21) – 19 Kennard Rd.

Victim reported that his bicycle was stolen while he was in school. Victim states he had left the bike on the bicycle rack. The principal was notified in regards to the theft.

  • Occurred 4:26PM (9/21) – 1349 Beacon St.

A local store employee reported that a female suspect had walked out after shoplifting several items. Police reviewed the surveillance footage from the store. The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5’6,” in her late 30’s, had black hair, big black sunglasses, a white V-neck shirt with a blue cardigan sweater, tight black pants, and open toe sandals.

  • Occurred 10:11PM (9/1) – 1470 Beacon St.

Victim reported that someone had stolen the rear tire off her bicycle. Victim states that her bike was the many locked to a rack in the basement of her apartment complex.

Not Duly Licensed

  • Occurred 11:24AM (9/21) – 44 Washington St.

Subject was stopped due to an expired inspection sticker and the number plate displayed an expired status. Subject presented the officer with an expired driver’s license. Subject was cited for operating with an expired license an expired vehicle registration, and an inspection sticker violation. Subject will be summoned to court for the criminal violations.

O.U.I.L

  • Occurred between 11:26PM (9/21) and 12:15AM (9/22) – 1 Brookline Pl

Police responded to a call of an assault and battery. Police were able to question the reporting party who stated that she had been assaulted by her friend who had been mad because she wasn’t allowed to drive home while intoxicated. Suspect was placed under arrest and cited for possession of marijuana.
