Crime Report (6/12/07)

ARRESTS

  • Occurred at 2:32 a.m. (6/11/07)- Boylston Street/ Chestnut Hill Avenue

A road rage incident involving a knife was reported to the police. The occupants of a Volvo and Jeep were involved in the altercation. The passenger of the Volvo, Pawel Antonik of Newton, had allegedly brandished a knife when confronting the occupants of the Jeep. Antonik was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and disorderly conduct.

  • Occurred at 3:16 p.m. (6/11/07)- Francis Street

Juvenile of Dorchester was arrested for a warrant. During apprehension, the juvenile was uncooperative and also attempted to run while waiting for the transport vehicle. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest.

ASSAULT

  • Occurred at 9:35 p.m. (6/11/07)- 131 Carlton Street

The victim reported that as she approached her parked vehicle in the area of 131 Carlton Street, she was attacked by what she believed to be two females. The victim stated that the suspects punched, scratched, and kicked her in various areas of her body. She described the suspects as two females, both 5’5”, one chubby, the other medium build, both wearing dark clothing and dark ski knit masks.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

  • Between 2:00 p.m. (6/8/07) and 7:00 a.m. (6/11/07)- 1 Incinerator Dr

Two recycling trucks had thief windshields smashed while parked at the Transfer Station over the weekend.

  • Between 2:00 p.m. (6/8/07) and 7:00 a.m. (6/11/07)- 1 Incinerator Dr

An office window at the Transfer Station was broken with an unknown object over the weekend. Entry was not gained.

B&E&L OF MOTOR VEHICLE

  • Occurred at 5:30 p.m. (6/11/07)- Lenox Street

The rear passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle had been smashed. A witness had heard the victim’s car alarm sound at approximately 5:30 pm. Nothing was disturbed within the vehicle.

  • Occurred at 3:24 a.m. (5/25/07)- Bonard Road

At the above time and location, the victim was awakened by the sound of a vehicle’s open door chimes. When the victim looked out his window, he observed a suspect inside his own vehicle. The victim and another resident of the apartment went out to confront the suspect. The suspect was no longer in the victim’s vehicle in the driveway, but had gone into another vehicle parked in the street. The victim yelled to the suspect who then took off running. It appears nothing was taken from the vehicles. The victim described the suspect as a black of Hispanic male, late 20’s, approx. 5’10” and 225 lbs, wearing a black leather jacket, baggy black khakis, and a red baseball cap.

  • Between 10:00 pm (5/29/07) and 11:00 am (5/30/07)- Arlington Rd

The front passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle had been smashed. A waist pack containing a passport and driver’s license was taken from the front seat. A check of the area did not turn up the victim’s property, but a brief case containing papers of another victim’s was found. The victim was contacted and he stated that his brief case had been stolen from his vehicle while parked on Beresford Road the day before.

GRAFFITI

  • Between 6:00 pm (6/6/07) and 10:53 am (6/11/07)- 11 Longwood Ave

The brick wall outside the building at the above location was tagged. The wall had three P’s with a R underneath written with what appeared to be a blue magic marker.

  • Between 12:00 p.m. (6/4/07) and 7:02 p.m. (6/11/07)- 10 Dwight Street

The alley at the above location had been spray painted in five different areas. One tag included “SWEET 2007”.
