3/8/2021 BAT EXPOSURE - Officers responded to an animal exposure report where the reporting party stated seeing a bat fly around in their kitchen. The reporting party stayed away from the bat and explained that the bat must have flown through a hole in the ceiling of their apartment.  There was no bat exposure to any of the occupants in the apartment.

3/8/2021 THEFT ATTEMPT - Officers responded to a report for suspicious activity on Fuller St. where a reporting party stated seeing a suspect near a moped and acting suspicious. When the suspect left, the reporting party went to the moped and saw burglarious instruments there, including a screw driver jammed into the ignition. Officers arrived and observed the weather cover torn off the moped as well as the burglarious tools. The reporting party gave a description of the suspect and officers collected the tools as evidence.

3/8/2021 PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a package theft report on Borland Rd. The reporting party returned home to discover the package on their porch to be opened and the contents missing. Officers are searching for surveillance near the area.

3/8/2021 BIKE THEFT - Officers responded to a bicycle theft report on Browne St. where the victim reported that they left their bike in the vestibule area of their building where only residents have access . They returned to discover their bike missing and the door to the room had been dislodged. Detectives are currently following up on the case.
___________________________________________________________________________________ 3/9/2021 ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER - Officers responded to an attempt of a break and enter on Park St. where the reporting party shared that the lock on a rear door seemed broken and officers observed that it seemed like it had been pushed out from the door. The inside of the building and patrons were ok and nothing was missing. Detectives are searching for surveillance near the area at the moment. 

3/9/2021 PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a package theft report on Welland Rd. where the reporting party received a delivery confirmation but when they returned home the package was not there.

3/9/2021 SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a shoplifting report on Harvard St. where the manager reported that the suspect was in the bathroom of the store and believes that they had shoplifted. The suspect has shoplifted from this establishment before so the manager recognized them. The suspect was seen taking a grey backpack and stuffing the backpack with other items from the store. The suspect left and a description was given to officers, who later stopped the suspect and returned the items. 

3/9/2021 LARCENY  -  Officers responded to a larceny report where the victim reported that their mail was stolen from the building on Marshal St.

3/9/2021 FRAUD - Officers responded to an unemployment fraud claim where the reporting party was notified by their employer that they received an unemployment claim. Since the party did not file for the benefits, they contacted the DUA Office and police.

3/10/2021 DOMESTIC DISPUTE - Officers received a report for a domestic dispute on Eliot Ave, where the reporting party stated that their roommates were in a fight. Officers located the two disputing roommates outside the apartment and the two reported that the argument did not become physical and that they had resolved their dispute. All parties were satisfied with the outcome.

3/10/2021 CAR BREAK AND ENTER - Officers responded to a motor vehicle break and enter on Beacon St. where the reporting party stated that they parked their vehicle in the morning and when they arrived after work, the car window was smashed. A backpack that the victim had in the car was missing. Detectives took photographs of the scene and checked for fingerprints. 

3/10/2021 FRAUD - Officers responded to an unemployment fraud report where the victim received a letter from the state of Kentucky stating that she filed for unemployment benefits. Since they never applied for unemployment benefits, they notified police.

3/10/2021 CAR BREAK AND ENTER - Officers responded to a motor vehicle break and enter on Eliot St. where the reporting party stated that their home surveillance system captured a suspect enter their driveway and entered their car. They rummaged through the vehicle and left shortly after. The victim checked the interior of their car after and nothing was missing. A description of the suspect was taken from the surveillance video.
