Thursday, June 20th

12:58AM: A citizen came to the Police Station to report an animal bite. The reporting party was sitting on a bench outside the Brookline Public Library when he felt a sharp pain in his right foot’s middle toe. He turned his flashlight on and noticed he was bleeding from a puncture wound. He stood up and attempted to locate the animal that possibly bit him but he could not find it. The officer on duty recommended that the man go to the hospital for his injuries. The reporting party was treated by EMS but refused transport to the hospital.

3:42PM: Police responded to a business on Commonwealth for a report of past shoplifting. The Loss Prevention Employee explained that a man has been shoplifting recently. Surveillance cameras show a heavy set white male with a dark beard and mustache entering the store on June 18th. The footage shows the suspect placing a small item into a brown paper bag before exiting the store without paying. The item stolen is a gold Samsung Galaxy men’s Smart Watch valued at $200. Police are investigating.

9:10PM: Officers were dispatched to Commonwealth for a report of shoplifting. The Loss Prevention employee was reviewing surveillance tapes when he noticed a man enter the store at 10:01AM and leave at 10:02AM. Footage from the cameras show the man steal two charcoal colored Ionic Smart Watches. Surveillance shows the suspect leave in a gray or silver sedan. This case is under investigation.
