An officer responded to Boylston St. where a report of a stolen motor vehicle was made on January 16. The victim stated that the vehicle was a rental that had not been returned. A stolen motor vehicle report has been filed.

On January 16, a man came into Police Headquarters reporting that cash withdrawals had been made from his savings account. The case is active at this time.

On the afternoon of January 16, patrolling officers observed and photographed graffiti spray painted at various locations. At this time, it is unknown when these tags were placed. The Parks Department has been contacted for their removal.


A package theft report was made at the Police Station during the early evening of January 16. The victim stated that she placed an order for a television on January 3 and had received a confirmation e-mail when it had been delivered later that week. The victim could not find the package when going to check for it. The case is active.
