9/30 - 10/01


Sector 1


Burglary: 09/30/2013 at 6:21 p.m. – Worthington Rd.

Several officers were dispatched to a residence on Worthington Rd. after receiving a report of Breaking and Entering. The officers were met by the victims who had just returned home to find their kitchen door open. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that several items were missing from the home including two lap tops and an IPad.


Sector 3


Larceny: 09/30/2013 at 4:12 p.m. – Westbourne Tr.

An officer was dispatched to Westbourne Tr. after receiving a report of a stolen bicycle. Upon arrival, the officer was met by the victim who stated he left his bike secured at the side of his house. At some point between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. the bike was stolen.



Sector 9


Larceny: 09/30/2013 at 4:47 – Boylston Playground

An officer was dispatched to the Boylston St. Playground for a report of theft of property. Upon arrival, the officer was met by the three victims who had been playing basketball in the playground. The victims left their backpacks unattended on a park table. When they returned to the table their backpacks were missing. They were able to locate their bags near the Davis Path Overpass. All of the bags were unzipped and had clearly been rummaged through. Several items were missing from the bags, including an IPad Mini. A witness was able to identify a suspect to the officer. The matter is currently under investigation.
