Sector 1
Receive Stolen Property: 9/4 at 3:10pm – St Mary’s Ct
Officers responded to a report for suspicious activity in the area of St Mary’s Ct – an area that has seen numerous cases of bike larcenies. Based on the subject’s suspicious behavior, officer believed that 2 subjects were traveling on stolen bicycles. The 2 subjects on the bicycles had been observed operating their bicycles in violation of Brookline Bicycle By-laws. Subjects attempted to run off and were non-compliant. Both subjects were placed under arrest and charged with Juvenile Delinquency to wit: Receiving Stolen Property and Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, and issued Town of Brookline By Law Bicycle Violation Citations for Riding on Sidewalks and Not Wearing Helmets.
Sector 2
Fraud: 9/4 at 5:30pm – Chapel St
Victim stated that there had been numerous fraudulent charges to her debit card since August 6th 2012. She stated that she cancelled her previous card and issued a new one, but there were fraudulent charges still being made against her new account.
Sector 2
Possession of Heroin: 9/4 at 10:25pm – Perry St
Officer responded to a report for an unwanted person on the premises. On arrival, officer observed the subject run into the small parking lot, drop a piece of paper onto the ground and then quickly put something into her pocket. Officers later revealed that the piece of paper contained heroin. Subject was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Class A and Use Without Authority.
Sector 3
Assault: 9/5 at 1:45am – Harvard St
Officer observed a female subject who appeared highly intoxicated. Subject resisted officer’s commands and continued assaultive behavior, flailing about, attempting to hit and kick officers, and yelling obscenities. Subject was placed under arrest and charged with Assault & Battery on a Public Employee, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Fraudulent Massachusetts Driver's License.
Sector 3
Larceny-Bike: Occ b/t 9/4 at 6:00pm & 9/4 at 8:00pm - Harvard St
Victim stated that he left his bike unlocked against the wall opposite his work and returned the next morning to find his bike missing.
Sector 5
Malicious Damage-Auto: Occurred b/t 8/30 at 8:30pm & 9/4 at 11:30am – Clark Rd
Officer inspected a vehicle that had noticeable scratches on it, and had been spit on.
Sector 6
Operating After Suspension: 9/5 at 12:20am –Boylston St @ Lee St
A query check revealed that the operator of a vehicle had a Suspended Registration, a Suspended License and an Expired Inspection Sticker. Operator was placed under arrest for Operating After Suspension of License and for Operating After Suspension of Registration, as well as Expired Inspection Sticker.
