Police Reports 6/22-6/25

Breaking and Entering: Occurred on 6/22 at 8:34 PM- Dwight St.

A Dwight St. resident reported a breaking and entering of an apartment. The victim stated that she was in the bathroom when she heard a noise come from the front door area of the apartment. When she went to investigate, she discovered that the front door had been compromised and forced open. The victim was not able to see any suspects. It did not appear that anything was taken from the residence.

Arrest: Occurred on 6/23 at 1:43 AM- Chestnut St.

Officers responded to Chestnut St. for the report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle on Chestnut St. and went into a house to deliver a pizza. When he returned to his vehicle, he discovered a male subject sitting in his vehicle going through his wallet. The victim grabbed his wallet out of the subject’s hand, at which time the subject fled the scene on foot.

Officers were able to locate a subject fitting the description in the surrounding area. In plain view, the officer observed a bag with several prescription pill bottles that did not have labels. A search revealed that the subject possessed cocaine and pills that were not prescribed to him. The subject was placed under arrest for Possession of Class E without a Prescription and Possession of Class B. The subject has not been confirmed as the male who committed the breaking and entering of the motor vehicle.

Arrest: Occurred on 6/23 at 3:24 AM- Parkman St.

A Parkman St. resident reported a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject banging and kicking on a front door. The subject was placed under arrest for Disturbing the Peace.

Arrest: Occurred on 6/24 at 4:36 PM- Hammond Pond Pkwy.

A vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign while entering the rotary from Lagrange St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Hammond Pond Parkway. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Arrest: Occurred on 6/24 at 7:14 PM- Beacon St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Beacon St. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner and she was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

B&E Motor Vehicle: Occurred between 6/23 and 6/24- Kenwood St.

A Kenwood St. resident reported the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that she parked her vehicle in her driveway with her door unlocked on 9/23 at 9:30 PM. When she returned the next morning she discovered that her glove box had been rummaged through. It did not appear that anything was missing from the vehicle.
