Police Report 6/27-6/28

 Larceny: Theft from mailbox on 6/27 - Euston St

Victim came into station reporting a case of larceny by check. On 6/19/2012, he received a copy of his bank statement of an unidentified charge to his account. The same incident occurred for the second time by the same subject on a later date. Victim claims that the credit card checks were stolen from his unlocked mailbox. Case is still under investigation.


Larceny: 6/27 at 4:16pm – Commonwealth Ave.

Officers respond to a reporting of a shoplifting. The store’s assistant manager claimed that the subject displayed suspicious behavior. Upon attempting to stop the subject, he left the store and road off on his bike. A review of the surveillance camera shows that the suspect had placed a headset underneath his shirt.


Graffiti Law: 6/27 – Stedman St

A resident of a building discovered graffiti on the side of his building.


Graffiti Law: 6/27 at 7:24pm – Park St

Officer responds to a graffiti complaint. The resident stated that he smelt the fresh paint after witnessing a male exiting the garage. He observed various graffiti on the inside and outside garage wall. The suspect is assumed to live in the area.


Town Property: 6/28 at 12:28am - Newton St

Officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and while distracted, collided onto Horace James Circle and struck a town tree. Subject was not injured. Upon a query of the vehicle’s information revealed that the subject had a suspended license. The driver was placed under arrest and charged for Mark Lanes Violation and Operating Motor Vehicle with a suspended License.


Loud Music/Party: 6/28 at 2:03am Euston St

Officer responded to a radio call for a loud party. Upon arrival, the officer heard loud music and talking coming from an apartment. Resident claimed she just had some friends over and left the windows open. Approximately 5 people left the apartment without incident and the music was turned off. There was no further noise.
