Police Reports 6/25-6/27

June 27th

Operating Under the Influence of Liquor: Tuesday 6/27 at 2:31am- Boylston St

A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Boylston St. Upon approach, officers noticed a very strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the interior of the vehicle. Subject was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor.

Operating After Suspension: Tuesday 6/27 at 2:31am- Boylston Street

A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Boylston St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Boylston St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

June 25th-26th

Larceny: Occurred Monday 6/25 at 1:30pm- Winchester St.
An incident of a UPS package that had been left at a doorway on Winchester St., had been stolen.

Protective Custody: Occurred Tuesday 6/26 at 12:24am- Newton St.
A man was observed lying in the roadway. While waiting for Fallon Ambulance’s arrival, officers questioned the subject who became uncooperative and belligerent. The subject was placed into protective custody for his own safety and transported to the Brookline Police Station.
