Robbery: Occurred on 4/9 at 9:54 PM- High St.
At approximately 10:00 PM, a woman was waiting for a taxi on High St. at High St. Place when she was approached by an unknown male who struck her in the face. The victim stated that the suspect repeatedly struck her in the face until she gave up her cell phone. The victim described the suspect as a black male, 30-40 yrs old, 5'10-6' tall, heavy set (200+ lbs), some facial hair, a dark colored beanie with possible hair sticking out, wearing a black hoodie and dark colored baggy clothing. The suspect ran through Robinson Park and onto Franklin St. Units canvassed the area with the help of a Boston K9 unit, but were unable to locate the suspect. Detectives are continuing with this investigation.
Leaving the Scene: Occurred on 4/9 at 2:55- Beacon St.
A vehicle backed into a building on Beacon St. Upon the officer’s arrival, the vehicle was gone and there was minor damage to the building. A passerby was able to take a picture of the vehicle in which the officer was able to identify the license plate number. The registered owner of the vehicle will be summonsed to Brookline District Court for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.
