Police Reports 4/6-4/9

Arrest: Occurred on 4/6 at 9:16 AM- Newton St.

A vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Newton St. and Goddard Ave. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Newton St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that her license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Larceny: Occurred on 4/6- Warren St.

A Warren St. resident reported the larceny of a bicycle. The victim stated that her bicycle was stolen from her front porch sometime between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM on 4/3.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 4/6 at 4:05 PM- Harvard St.

Officers responded to TJ Maxx for a shoplifting report. A loss prevention employee stated that he had observed two individuals removing the security devices from store merchandise. The two individuals were placed under arrest for shoplifting.

Arrest: Occurred on 4/6 at 6:18 PM- Washington St.

A vehicle that was traveling on Washington St. made an unsafe lane change without using a signal. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Washington St. A query revealed that a passenger had an active warrant out for his arrest. The passenger was placed under arrest for the warrant.

Burglary: Occurred on 4/7- Clinton Rd.

A Clinton Rd. resident reported a breaking and entering. The victim stated that when he awoke on 4/7, he noticed that a mud room door was slightly ajar. The victim received a call from another individual who told him that a bag containing several of the victim’s credit cards was left on his front lawn. Nothing else was reported missing from the house.

Malicious Damage: Occurred on 4/8- Centre St. Lot

An individual reported malicious damage to several vehicles in the Centre Street West lot. There were five automobiles that had similar damage. The paint on the vehicles had been scratched with a key or another sharp object. A similar incident at this location was reported on 3/24.

Arrest: Occurred on 4/9 at 6:23 AM- Boylston St.

A vehicle was traveling on Boylston St. at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Boylston St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that she had an active warrant out of Dorchester District Court. The operator was placed under arrest for the warrant.

Arrest: Occurred on 4/9 at 10:02 AM- Summit Ave.

A vehicle failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of Short St. and Summit Ave. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Summit Ave. A query of the driver’s information revealed that he did not have a valid license for operation in Massachusetts. The operator was placed under arrest for Not Duly Licensed.

Arrest: Occurred on 4/9 at 11:09 AM- High St.

A vehicle failed to stop for the stop sign located at High St. and Chestnut St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on High St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that she had a warrant out of Dorchester District Court. The operator was placed under arrest for the warrant.
