Police Reports 3/30-4/2

Arrest: Occurred on 4/1 at 2:10 AM- Boylston St.

A vehicle was traveling on Boylston St. at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Boylston St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his right to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Arrest: Occurred on 4/2 at 1:28 AM- Harvard St./ School St.

A vehicle was traveling without a functional headlight. The officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Harvard Street and School Street. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Larceny: Occurred between 3/28 and 3/29- Beacon St.

An individual reported that her laptop computer had been stolen from her office. The victim stated that she left her office at 8:30 AM on 3/28. When she returned at 7:30 AM on 3/29, she noticed that her laptop was missing and that the office door was slightly ajar. No other items were taken from the office.

Breaking and Entering: Occurred on 4/1- Naples Rd.

A Naples Rd. resident reported a breaking and entering. The victim stated that when he woke up on 4/1, he noticed several jackets had been knocked off hooks on the basement door, which had been left open. The victim did not notice any items missing from the residence at this time. The victim stated that he returned home later in the day to find that windows to the basement had been forced open. It does not appear that any personal property was taken from the apartment.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 4/1 at 1:40 PM- Harvard St.

Officers responded to TJ Maxx for a report of shoplifting. A loss prevention employee stated that he observed a subject place items from the store in his jacket and attempt to leave without paying for them. The subject was placed under arrest for shoplifting.
