8/18-8/19

Arrest:

Occurred at 9:57 PM on 8/18 – St. Mary’s St./Park Dr.

Officers on patrol in the area due to the rise in construction site thefts observed a dark colored pickup truck near a construction site. A male was seen inside the sectioned off area where the workers keep their equipment. He was then observed throwing a large object into his truck and driving away down an alley.

He was observed not using his turn signal appropriately, so officers were able to pull him over. Scrap metal and construction tools and equipment were observed in plain view in the rear of the extended cab of the truck. Leo Henry and Paul Miller will be charged with the following crimes:

-Possession of Burglarious Tools, 266 s49
-Trespassing, 266 s120
-Receiving Stolen Property over $250, MGL 266 s60
-Larceny ovey $250, MGL 266 s30


Assault:

Occurred on 8/18 – Centre Street Parking Lot

A meter maid reported being assaulted as she tried to write a ticket out for a driver. The driver pushed the maid on the shoulder. Dan Shatil of Brookline will be summonsed into District Court for Assault and Battery on a Public Employee.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny of Motor Vehicle
:

Occurred Overnight, 8/17-8/18 – Upland Rd.

An officer on patrol was approach by a victim who reported her vehicle had been broken into overnight. Keys and loose change were among the items stolen.
