7/20-7/21

Robbery:

Occurred at 2:03 AM on 7/21 – Pond Ave.

A man reported being robbed at gunpoint in Olmstead Park. The thieves made off with cash and credit cards. The victim was not able to report a description of the thieves. This is related to the incident on Perry St (below), as well as the incident on Brookline Ave. and Aspinwall Ave. on 7/8.

The victim at Brookline Ave. was walking at 1:36 AM near the park when a male attempted to steal her purse.He was described as a black male, late teens, approximately 5'8"-5'10" in height. He was accompanied by a second male which the victim was unable to describe.


Reported at 1:23 AM on 7/21 – Perry St.

A woman reported being robbed at gunpoint in front of her apartment building. The male that was with her was also attacked. The thieves made off with her purse which contained cash and credit cards. The first suspect was described as a black male, wearing dark clothing, black shorts, black t-shirt, and a baseball cap or "du-rag". The second suspect was also described as a black male, wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts, and a dark baseball cap with red markings on the front.

MV Accident:

Occured at 8:53 PM on 7/20 - Boylston St.

A male was struck while attempting to cross Boylston St. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver was also taken to the hospital, and was treated and released.

Arrest:

Occurred at 10:00 PM on 7/20 – Davis Ave./Cypress St.

Officers observed an individual near a bicycle and determined he was attempting to steal it. A pair of pliers was protruding from his pocket. The individual claimed the bicycle was given to him at no cost, but the bicycle appears to be new and valued very highly so his story appears to be inconsistent. After further investigation, he was arrested for Attempted Larceny. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were also found on his person, so he was further charged with Possession of Class B (crack cocaine).

Larceny:

Reported on 7/20 – Harrison St.

A caller reported two of his childrens' bicycles were missing from the side of his home.

MV Break-in:

Occured Overnight, 7/18-7/19 – Bellingham Rd.

A motor vehicle in the area was reported broken into. The passenger side window was smashed, and an iPad was taken.
