Arrests:
Occurred at 2:30 PM (6/17) – Commonwealth Av./ Babcock Street
Officers were patrolling the area when they observed a male subject that seemed to be bent over in pain. Officer stopped to check on the individual and noticed that the subjects eyes where blood shot and glassy and a white substance had built up around his mouth. The subject was identified and medically cleared. Officer then queried the subject and there was an active warrant out for the subject’s arrest. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests and transported to the Brookline Police Department.
Occurred at 1:12 AM (6/18) – Washington Street/ Pond Avenue
Officers were patrolling the area when they observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed go through a red light. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a red light violation and speeding. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s Massachusetts license to operate was suspended. The subject was informed and was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension. The subject was issued citations for speeding and a red light violation.
Occurred at 8:22 PM (6/18) – Washington Street
Officers responded to a report of door to door solicitation. Upon arrival officers met with the subject that matched the description of the solicitor. Upon conversation officers learned that the subject did not have a license to solicit in Massachusetts but that his partner did. When the partner arrived officers queried the subject and learned that there were active arrest warrants. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest and the other subject was sent on their way.
Occurred at 2:49 AM (6/20) – Washington Street
Officers were patrolling the area when they observed a vehicle that had an expired inspection sticker. Officers conducted a traffic stop due to the expired sticker. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s Massachusetts license to operate was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension and was issued a citation for an expired inspection sticker.
