February 7th-8th

Robbery:

Occurred at 3:14 PM (2/7) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of bank robbery at a local bank. Upon arrival officers learned that the subject handed the teller a note. The teller then gave the man money and the subject fled. The incident is under an ongoing investigation.

Breaking and Entering:

Occurred between 8:00AM (2/7) and 4:00 PM (2/7) – Powell Street

Officers responded to a past Breaking and Entering at a local apartment. Upon arrival officers learned that the window to the victims bathroom had been kicked in and the front door was left open. At the time of the report the victim stated nothing appeared to be missing from the apartment. This incident is under ongoing investigation.

Arrests:

Occurred at 10:14 PM (2/7) – Boylston Street

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival officers learned that one of the vehicle occupants had an active arrest warrant for multiple charges. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests and the vehicle was released to the other occupant.

Occurred at 1:10 AM (2/8) – Walnut Street/ High Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a defective equipment. Upon investigation officers learned that the operators driver’s license was suspended due to non payment of a traffic citation. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Suspicious activity:

Occurred between 1:10 AM (2/8) and 1:17 AM (2/8) – Beacon Street

Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity at a local apartment building. Upon arrival the victim stated that she had seen a shadow of someone through the curtains of her on the fire escape. She then saw the subject in another window attempting to exit the fire escape. The incident is under ongoing investigation.
