February 10th-11th

February 10th- 11th
Arrests:
Occurred at 3:19 PM (2/10) – Beacon Street

Officers observed suspicious behavior by two subjects while doing surveillance in the surrounding area. Upon investigation officers learned that one of the subjects had several active warrants for his arrests. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Brookline Police Station.

Occurred at 6:13 PM (2/10) – Boylston Street/ Washington Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to stop at a red light. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject did not have a license to operate a motor vehicle. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for being not duly licensed and was issued a citation for failure to stop at a red light.

Occurred at 9:01 PM (2/10) – Harvard Street/ Beal Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for a red light violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the operators license was suspended. Along with the suspended license the operator also had active warrants out for his arrest. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for the above charges. During the arrest officer also discovered small amounts of marijuana on the subject person.

Larceny:
Occurred between 10:30 PM (2/9) and 10:42 (2/9) – Cypress Street

Officers responded to a report of larceny. Upon investigation the victim stated that there were auto parts missing from the owner’s auto shop. Investigation of this incident is ongoing.

Not Duly Licensed:
Occurred at 6:40 PM (2/10) – Amory Street/ Freeman Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign. Upon investigation officers learned that the operator’s license was suspended. The operator was issued a citation for operating with an expired license and a stop sign violation. The subject will be summonsed into Brookline District Court for these violations.
