July 9th – July 11th

Indecent Exposure

Occurred 12:24 PM (7/09) – Longwood Ave. / Kent St.

Police responded to a report of indecent exposure. The reporting person stated that the subject was walking around the area with nothing but a button down shirt covering him. He described the subject as a white male with white hair and a beard. Upon Arrival, officers observed a man walking with no pants on. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle

Occurred between 12:30 PM and 1:35 PM (7/09) – Longwood Ave.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that he left his car parked for approximately one hour and left the windows partially opened. When he returned to his car, he discovered his car unlocked, items thrown on the passenger seat, and loose change missing. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred 8:19 PM (7/09) – Eliot St.

Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting persons stated that as they were in the house, they saw a black male trying door handles to vehicles. They further witnessed the suspect enter the passenger side of a vehicle and immediately contacted the car’s owner. The victim reported that nothing was missing from his vehicle except a couple of dollars in quarters. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

Occurred 2:50 PM (7/09) – Greenough St.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that she had left her wallet and cell phone under her chair during a class break and when she came back, both items were gone. The victim provided police with several leads which the police are in the process of following up.

Occurred between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM (7/10) – Harvard St.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim reported that while she was working, her purse was stolen. She had placed her purse under a chair located at the front of the store and when she returned, she discovered several items missing including her wallet, MA driver’s license, $300 cash, and two credit cards. Police are following up on the case.

Arrest

Occurred 2:59 PM (7/09) – Harris St.

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity inside of a building garage. The reporting person stated that there were two suspicious white males inside of the parking garage. Upon arrival, officers identified the subjects and discovered that one of the males had an active arrest warrant. That subject was subsequently placed under arrest.

Occurred 8:25 AM (7/10) – Beacon St.

Police responded to a report of a male subject disturbing the peace. Firefighters informed police that the sprinkler system was not working at the subject’s residence and due to safety reasons; they need to keep the front door to the building open in case of an emergency. Firefighters contacted the police because they were concerned that the subject would shut and lock the door which would endanger the well being of the building’s residents. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for disturbing the peace and hindering a firefighter.

Malicious Damage

Occurred 11:17 PM (7/11) – Centre St. Lot West

Police responded to a report of malicious damage. While patrolling, officers observed a white male in an alleyway holding a can of spray paint and writing on a wooden fence. Upon further inspection, officers observed a second subject who had two cans of spray paint and two black markers in his possession. Both subjects were subsequently placed under arrest for Tagging.
