July 14th – 15th

Arrest

Occurred 9:57 PM (7/14) – Beacon St.

Police responded to a report of a “peeping tom”. Upon arrival, officers observed the subject with an unbuckled belt and an undone zipper. Officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that while she was inside her apartment she saw the subject on the window ledge looking into her apartment. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and Town by law “Peeping”.

Fraud

Occurred between 9:29 AM (7/13) and 9:29 AM (7/14) – South St.

Police responded to a report of fraud. The victim reported that an unauthorized withdrawal from her bank account was made. She further stated that she has had possession of her card and has no idea who obtained her information. Police are following up on the case.

Graffiti

Occurred between 9:30 PM (7/13) and 8:20 AM (7/14) – Harvard St.

Police responded to a report of graffiti. The reporting person stated that there was graffiti on his store’s front window that wasn’t there the previous night. Police are following up on the case.

Burglary

Occurred between 10:00 PM (7/12) and 8:00 AM (7/13) – John St.

Police responded to a report of a past burglary. The reporting person stated that her husband’s bicycle was last seen Monday night in their basement and was missing the next morning. Upon inspection, officers found no sign of forced entry to either of the basement doors. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

Occurred between 12:00 PM (7/13) and 12:00 PM (7/14) – Beacon St.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The reporting persons stated that two lawn chairs were stolen from their side yard. They described the chairs as black framed lawn chairs with tan colored mesh backing valued at $35 each. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM (7/13) – Catlin Rd.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that an unknown suspect had stolen an antique table from the common area of her condominium. The table was described as a wooden Sheraton style with a small drawer on the right hand side worth about 5,000 dollars. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred 4:05 PM (7/14) – Beacon St.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The reporting person stated that an "I Phone 4", valued at $699, had been stolen from her place of employment. She believes the cell phone was taken by a male subject who had been inside the store. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed the subject travelling directly to where the I Phone was and run out of the store after the alarm sounded. Police were unable to locate the suspect but are conducting a follow-up investigation.

Occurred between 10:30 AM (7/14) and 8:26 AM (7/15) – Stedman St.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that her bike had been on her front porch the previous night and when she returned the following morning, she discovered it missing. She described the bike as a Gray Treck 7.5 mountain bike valued around $600 dollars. Police are following up on the case.
