March 9th

Arrest

Occurred 3:15PM (3/9) – 46 Tappan St.

Police observed a male trespassing on Brookline High School property. Upon identifying the male, it was confirmed that he was not permitted to be on any Brookline High School property. He was arrested for violating his trespass order.

Occurred 7:23PM (3/9) – 1633 Beacon St.

Police located a vehicle that had been involved earlier in a hit and run. Based on conversation with the driver of the vehicle, officers became concerned that he may be intoxicated. The driver was subsequently arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating to endanger, and marked lanes violation.

Fraud

Occurred between 7:00AM (11/25/2009) and 3:00PM (12/11/2009) – Park St.

Police responded to a report of fraud. The victim stated that her department store credit card had multiple unauthorized charges. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred 8:57AM (3/9) – Denny Rd.

Police responded to a report of a fraudulent use of a credit card. The victim stated that he received a call from Foot Locker shoe store about a recent purchase with his credit card. The victim stated he had not purchased anything at Foot Locker recently. Police are following up on the case.
