August 13th Police Reports

Fraud

  • Occurred 11:29PM (8/13) – 7 Naples Rd.

Victim reported a number of unknown withdrawals made from her bank account. Victim will be filing an alert with her bank to avoid future incidents. Police took a copy of the transactions for evidence.

Graffiti

  • Occurred 8:18AM (8/13) – 1470 Beacon St.

A local building manager called police when having been made aware by a tenant of graffiti marks within the building and on the tenants moped. Victim walked the officer around the various parts of the building that had been marked as well. All graffiti marks were photographed and submitted into evidence.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 6:00PM (8/12) and 1:00PM (8/13) – 237 Washington St.

An employee of a local book store stated that two Harry-Potter box-sets had been stolen. Victim described the suspect as a Caucasian female, approximately 40 years old, had a long ponytailed grey hair, and missing several teeth. The female suspect was accompanied by an African-American male, approximately five years old, and had short curly hair. Police will be following up on the case.

  • Occurred 4:28PM (8/13) – 168 Aspinwall Av.

Police responded to a call in regards to an individual having observed to young males trying to steal a bike off her neighbor’s porch. Police were made aware of what the boys were wearing and how they both fled on one bike. The boys were identified and were released to their parents. The suspects and the parents were informed that they will be summonsed to court. The bike the suspects had been riding was entered into evidence.
