August 1st Police Reports

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 3AM and 3:30PM (7/31)- 3 Summit Avenue

Victim reports that sometime overnight his neighbors awoke to his car alarm sounding. Upon investigation the victim said he found his front grill had been forcefully removed from the front end of his vehicle.

Occurred between 7:01PM (7/01) and 7:01PM (8/01) - 166 Rangeley Road

Victim reports that a BB pellet damaged his dining room window sometime over the last month. The cost of this damage is unknown.

LARCENY

  • Occurred between 1:30PM (7/25) and 8AM (7/26)- 64 Westbourne Terrace

A camp counselor reported that she had left her cell phone inside one of the classrooms at the Driscoll School overnight. The class room was unlocked during that time and when the victim returned the next day the phone was gone. The phone was valued at about $100.

  • Occurred between 3AM and 12PM (8/01)- 86 Verndale Street

Victim reports that her Marin Redwoods mountain bike was stolen from her property some time overnight. The value of this bike is unknown.

  • Occurred between 7AM and 4:30PM (7/31)- 209 Harvard Street

Victim reported her wallet was stolen from her office sometime during the day. The wallet is a brown Louis Vatton containing several identification cards and credit cards as well at $20 cash. Her credit card was charged with over $400 in fraudulent purchases. This case is still under investigation.

  • Occurred between 2:02PM and 3:02PM (8/01)- 50 Pleasant Street

Victim notified police that she found her credit card missing from her wallet and about $80 worth of fraudulent charges attributed to it. She claims she last used the card in late June and cannot recall how or when it might have been stolen.

  • Occurred between 12:00AM (7/24) and 5:36PM (8/01)- 24 Alton Place

Victim reports that her Diamond bracelet was missing from her residence. She had several guests as well as a moving company into her residence at the time this bracelet went missing. The value of the bracelet is $3500.

Operating

  • Occurred at 2:56AM (8/01)- 59 Verndale Street

Police on patrol noticed a suspicious vehicle with two occupants idling for over 10 minutes. Upon investigation it was learned the owner’s license was revoked. The operator and owner of the vehicle was charged with not having a registration in possession, Operating a Motor Vehicle After License Revocation, and Idling Greater than 5 minutes.
