Officers responded to Pleasant St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they observed a suspicious individual trespassing in a residential building.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers were called to Beacon St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they received notification of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, the package was missing from the foyer.

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to Browne St for a report, where the reporting party stated that they left their vehicle unlocked in a residential parking lot and discovered the next morning that it had been rummaged through and property was missing.


Tuesday, January 24

FRAUD

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered their personal information had been used to open multiple cellphone lines and that fraudulent charges had been posted to her account.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers were called to Davis Av for a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered an individual had removed a package from their vehicle, which had been left unlocked.


MOPED THEFT

Officers responded to St Paul St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they had left their moped at the rear of their building and discovered it was missing after a few hours. The moped has since been recovered.


Wednesday, January 25

SCAM

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they received a call from an individual claiming to be a relative and that they needed bail money. The scammer requested that they send money via an online transfer.


MV THEFT 

Officers responded to Boylston St for a report of a stolen motor vehicle.


THEFT

Officers were called to Webster Pl for a theft.


MOPED THEFT

Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Fuller St. The reporting party shared that they had secured their moped in a residential parking lot and discovered the next morning that it was missing.

Thursday, January 26

THEFT

Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Kensington Cr. The reporting party shared that they discovered jewelry was missing from their residence.

CHECK FRAUD

Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated they mailed a check and later it had been altered before being cashed.


Friday, January 27

ASSAULT

Officers took a report of a past assault on Beacon St, where the reporting party shared that an individual confronted them and struck them in the head.

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that someone had attempted to falsify a check and cash it from their account.


SHOPLIFTING

Officers took a report of shoplifting that occurred on Harvard St.

Officers responded to Babcock St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they left their bike in a garage for a few days and later discovered that it had been stolen.

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they received a call from an individual claiming to be law enforcement and stating that they were being investigated for a crime. The scammer told them to make a money transfer, otherwise they will be arrested. 

THEFT

Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Greenough St. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.


Saturday, January 28

FRAUD

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they received an email confirming a purchase they had not made. An individual claiming to be a service representative refunded the purchase then claimed to have transferred too much. They demanded the victim make a second transfer to rectify the mistake.


MV THEFT

Officers responded to Gibbs St for a report, where the reporting party stated they left their vehicle running in the street with the keys inside. When they returned a few minutes later, they discovered that the vehicle had been stolen.


Sunday, January 29

CAR BREAK

Officers were called to Beals St for a report of an individual rummaging through vehicles in a driveway. The suspect was identified and placed under arrest.


FRAUD

Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated that they discovered someone had used personal information to open a new cellphone line.

Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated that they discovered fraudulent activity on their credit cards.


SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Officers responded to Goddard Av for a report, where the reporting party shared that someone had trespassed and littered on their property. The matter has been resolved.


BURGLARY

Officers were called to Crowninshield Rd for a report of a breaking and entering of a residence.
