Officers took a report of damage done to a window on School St. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

CHECK FRAUD

Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they mailed a check and later discovered it had been altered before being cashed.

BIKE THEFT

Officers responded to Commonwealth Av for a report, where the reporting party shared that they left their bike secured to a bike rack for an hour. When they returned they found a male suspect attempting to steal it.

Tuesday, January 31

SHOPLIFTING

Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of shoplifting. The suspect was placed under arrest.

ASSAULT

Officers responded to Babcock St for a report of an assault. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

Wednesday, February 1

THEFT

Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on School St. The reporting party stated they left their bag unattended for a few days and later discovered it was missing. 

WEAPONS VIOLATION

Officers recovered a firearm from an unlicensed individual.

BURGLARY

Officers responded to White Pl for a report of an attempted breaking and entering of a residence.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers were called to St Paul St for a report, where the reporting party shared they received a notification of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, the package was had been opened, and the contents removed.

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to Thornton Rd for a report, where the reporting party shared that they left their vehicle unlocked on the street and discovered the next morning that it had been rummaged through.

AUTO PARTS THEFT

Officers responded to Warren St for a report, where the reporting party stated they left their vehicle in the driveway for a few days and later discovered that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

SHOPLIFTING

Officers took a report of shoplifting that occurred on Harvard St. The suspect was placed under arrest.

Friday, February 3

NOISE VIOLATION

Officers responded to St Paul St for a report of loud music late at night. The resident was advised of the town by-laws and issued a citation.

MV THEFT

Officers were called to Gerry Rd for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The reporting party shared that they left their vehicle in a residential parking lot and discovered the next morning that it was missing. The case was closed, and the vehicle has been recovered.

MV THEFT

Officers responded to the area of Harvard St and Thorndike St for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The reporting party shared that they left their vehicle running in a metered spot on the street and returned a few minutes later to discover that it had been stolen. The vehicle was recovered, and the suspect was summonsed to court. 

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Officers were called to Pond Av for a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered a female individual inside their residence. They left without incidence.

Saturday, February 4

THFT

Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Tappan St. The reporting party shared that they left their wallet in a locker and discovered an hour later that it had been stolen.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to Boylston St for a report of an attempted theft. The reporting party shared that they discovered a package had been opened in the lobby of a residential building, the contents of which had been left behind.

Sunday, February 5

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers were called to Netherlands Rd for a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered an individual had taken a package from their front porch.

ROBBERY

Officers responded to Thorndike St for a report, where the reporting party shared two individuals attempted to steal their vehicle by force. The suspects fled the area immediately after.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers were called to Freeman St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered an empty package in their driveway, the contents having been removed.
