Monday, July 25

THEFT - Officers responded to Payson Rd for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they woke up to two individuals stealing the catalytic converter from their vehicle, which had been parked in the driveway.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Franklin St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their unlocked vehicle in the driveway and returned in the morning to discover that it had been rummaged through and that property was missing.

ASSAULT - Officers responded to Boylston St for a report of an altercation between two individuals. The victim reported a male individual struck them in the face then fled the scene.

THEFT - Officers were called to High St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated that they left their vehicle in a private lot for a few weeks and returned to discover that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Village Way for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. A female individual entered multiple vehicles, which were left in a parking garage overnight, and stole property. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of vandalism that occurred on Beacon St. The reporting party stated they discovered damage done to their vehicle, which had been parked on the street for a few hours. 

ASSAULT - Officers were called to Penniman Pl for a report of a trespassing. The reporting party stated a female individual had entered their residence and was acting erratically. The perpetrator was summonsed to court. 


Tuesday, July 26

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of vandalism that occurred on Holland Rd. The reporting party stated three individuals had damaged a portion of a fence overnight.

ANIMAL VIOLATION - Officers took a report of a dog bite that occurred on Newton St. The reporting party stated they were meeting the owner, when their dog ran up and bit them. 

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Marion St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle in a parking garage overnight and discovered the next day that property was missing from inside and that the hub caps had been removed.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of unemployment fraud. The reporting party stated they were notified of an unemployment claim from out of state. 

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers took a report of suspicious activity that occurred on Heath St. The reporting party stated they saw an unknown individual walking around on private property, but the man left without further incident when confronted. 

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of vandalism that occurred on Beacon St. The reporting party stated someone had written a slur on their mailbox.


Wednesday, July 27

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they mailed a check and later discovered that it had been altered and cashed by someone other than the intended individual.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated they witnessed an individual place merchandise in a reusable bag then leave the store without paying.

NOISE VIOLATION - Officers were called to Winslow Rd for a report of loud music. Officers determined the noise was exceeding town limits and issued a warning.


Thursday, July 28

SHOPLIFTING -  Officers responded to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they witnessed a female individual place merchandise in a personal bag then leave the store without paying. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Cutler La for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated that they left their vehicle unlocked in the driveway and discovered that a male individual had rummaged through it overnight.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Heath St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked at the rear of the residence and discovered that an individual had rummaged through it and stolen property.


Friday, July 29

BAT EXPOSURE - Officers took a report of a bat exposure on Summit Av. The reporting party stated they found a bat flying around the house and were able to chase it out of the room.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they witnessed an individual place merchandise in a personal bag, but when they confronted her, the suspect fled. The suspect was summonsed to court.


Saturday, July 30

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Gerry Rd. The reporting party stated an individual had removed property from the exterior of their residence. 

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Harvard St. The reporting party stated they left their wallet behind at a store and later discovered fraudulent charges on their bank account. 

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they received a text message claiming they would be charged for an order, if they did not call the provided number. The perpetrator told them to purchase multiple gift cards in order to pay back the reported balance.

LARCENY - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Babcock St. The reporting party stated they left their motorcycle outside their residence and later discovered that a male individual stole the saddlebags in the early morning.


Sunday, July 31

THEFT - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they lost their wallet on Commonwealth Av and later discovered fraudulent charges on their bank account.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they discovered fraudulent orders had been purchased using their bank information.

THEFT - Officers were called to Bowker St for a report of theft. The reporting party stated that someone had entered their residence and stolen property.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they received a notification that someone had filed a fraudulent unemployment claim using their information.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they discovered a hole in a window in their residence.

MV THEFT - Officers responded to Welland Rd for a report of a theft of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked, with the key inside, in the driveway and discovered a few hours later that it had been stolen. It has since been recovered.
