ANNOYING PHONE CALLS - Officers responded to an establishment on Washington St. where employees shared that they have been receiving inappropriate phone calls from an anonymous caller. The caller has called before with the same inappropriate behavior. Officers are attempting to identify the caller with the phone number used.
BREAKING AND ENTERING - Officers responded to a past breaking and enter of a motor vehicle on Egmont St. The victim shared that their car was parked in the rear parking lot of the building and they discovered their vehicle had been broken into and damaged. The vehicle was in complete disarray with empty bags of food, empty bottles of drinks, cigarettes, and other items. There was also extensive damage to the inside of the vehicle. Detectives took items for processing and are obtaining camera footage from a building nearby.
ATTEMPT BICYCLE THEFT - Officers noticed an abandoned bike at around 8:30PM and were suspicious of its presence in the middle of the street. Officers canvassed the area to discover a person manipulating a locked bike on a rack. When the person saw the officers, they walked away from the bike. Officers were able to detain the person and identify the person with their ID. The subject being uncooperative and noisy, caused residents to come out of their building. One of the residents was the owner of the bike that was about to be stolen. Police officers made an arrest.
BICYCLE THEFT - Officers responded to a report of bike theft on Browne St. where the victim shared that they last saw their bike on May 10th in the basement storage of their building. The victim went to check on their bike at 6PM to discover that it's missing. Officers were able to find surveillance cameras in the area and are attempting to access the footage.

FRAUD - Officers responded to a report of fraud where the victim shared that a cell phone account had been made under their name in April. They received a phone bill and saw that the account was made without their consent. A phone call with the phone company revealed that their personal information has been compromised. The victim was advised to call the Federal Trade Commission and the Social Security Office.
SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Harvard St. at 2:30PM for a past shoplifting report. Officers were provided a description of the suspect and canvassed the area. The store manager shared that they observed the suspect at the check-out counter but the suspect walked away with the items without paying. When confronted, the suspect began ripping off the price tags on the items they took. The suspect exited the store and proceeded down Harvard Ave. At this time, the store manager contacted police.
PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to a package theft report on Pleasant St. where the victim shared that they received a notification that their package was delivered but when they went to retrieve the package, it was not there. A neighbor shared that at some point they did see a package but was unsure of the exact time.
