At approximately 10:28 AM officers were dispatched to the corner of Beacon and Saint Paul Streets for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Once on scene police noticed a traffic light that was struck and damaged.  Police interviewed witnesses who told police the following: They heard a loud noise from the crash and saw a grey Volvo drive over the pole then leave the scene. After clearing the scene, Officers noticed a trail of fluid on the road near the crash and followed it.  After a brief investigation they discovered a grey Volvo with front bumper damage.  After identifying the driver he was issued citations for leaving the scene of a crash and other traffic offenses.
