On Friday, an officer was dispatched to Coolidge Corner for a report of shoplifting. The witness stated that the suspect stole three items of clothing. The case is active and video surveillance will be retrieved.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Beacon St and St Mary’s St. for a possible attempted larceny of property. The witness stated that they had observed what they believed to be someone trying to steal the tires off of a bicycle. Officers observed that the rear wheel had been unscrewed. The suspect will be summonsed to court.

On Sunday January 21, officers took a report of a past breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that they were parked on Brookline Ave. near the intersection of Netherlands Rd. at a metered space. Upon returning to the vehicle, the victim saw that the front passenger window was smashed. Personal belongings were stolen and miscellaneous items were strewn about the vehicle. A follow up has been requested and the case is currently active.


An officer responded to the intersection of Chapel St. and Longwood Ave. for a past breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. The victim had parked at a metered spot and upon returning found their passenger window had been smashed.  Their valuables had been taken from the front passenger’s seat. There is no surveillance footage from the area. The case is active.
