December 22nd -25th

December 22nd 9:40AM an officer on patrol on Harvard Street conducted a registration check on a vehicle. The registry indicated there was an arrest warrant for the registered owner. A stop was conducted and it was confirmed the owner was driving the vehicle. The owner was placed under arrest to face the charges on the warrant.
December 22nd Police received a report of a past dog incident at Amory Park. It was reported that on December 19th at 7:50AM one dog bit another dog. This mater is under investigation.
December 22nd 12:46PM A two car crash at the intersection of St. Paul Street and Browne St. No injuries. One operator was cited for a Stop Sign violation and having an expired registration.
December 22nd 4:46PM A two car crash at 306 Harvard Street. One vehicle rear ended another in traffic. No injuries. The operator found at fault was cited for following two closely and not having a driver’s license.
December 24th 2:11AM a single car crash at Grove Street and Walnut Hill Road. The vehicle struck a crosswalk sign and a telephone pole. No injuries.
December 24th 9:30AM A two car crash at Kent Street and Longwood Av. No injuries, one operator was cited for a red light violation.
December 24th 2:36PM officers responded to a business in Coolidge Corner for a past shoplifting report. The store staff indicated they saw a women place items in her bag. They approached the woman and asked if she needed help, she said no. She then turned over some items she was holding. The woman then exited a short time later. A review of security video showed the woman had placed other items in some bags she was carrying before she left the store. This mater is under investigation.
During this same time frame we responded to 42 medical calls.
