10/12/2017

On October 12, an officer was dispatched to Summit Ave. for a larceny report. The reporting party stated that sometime between September 24 and October 2, items were taken from his garage. The matter is under investigation.

10/13/2017

On October 13, an officer was dispatched to Parkman St. for a larceny report. The reporting party stated that a package was stolen from his building’s front vestibule that morning.

An officer was dispatched to Washington St. for a report of suspicious activity. The reporting party stated they believed the occupants of a vehicle to be either high or intoxicated. An officer responded and in approaching the vehicle saw the driver holding a spoon of clear liquid and begin to draw it into a syringe. The driver was placed under arrest for possession of heroin and operating with a revoked license and the passenger was placed under arrest for being present where heroin is knowingly kept and possession of a Class A drug.

An officer responded to Kent St. for a larceny report. The reporting party stated that his bike had been stolen from a bike rack. The incident is being investigated.

An officer was dispatched to the area of Marion and Harvard Streets for a report of a fight in progress. The victim stated he and his wife were walking when a vehicle turned aggressively in front of them and he stated “do you have a problem?” At this point, the victim stated that the car pulled over and the driver attempted to exit and ultimately became entangled with the victim before leaving the scene. Officers located the suspect and he is being charged with assault and battery.

10/14/2017

An officer was dispatched to the lower lot of Larz Anderson Park for a report of a breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated that something had been used to pry away the operator’s door latch so that the door could be opened and items were missing from inside.

An officer responded to Cameron St. for a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that his package was reportedly signed for and delivered yet he never received it. The incident is being investigated.

10/15/2017

On October 15, officers responded to Harvard St. for a report of a bicycle having just been stolen. Officers were able to locate a man matching the description of the suspect. The victim was able to identify the suspect and he was placed under arrest for Larceny from a Person.

A woman came into the police station to report a larceny. The woman stated that on 10/11 she had locked her bike to a rack on Beacon St. and when she returned, the lock had been cut and the bike was gone.

An officer was dispatched to 98 Clinton Rd. for a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that they had left a bike outside, unlocked and that it had been stolen.
