10:57 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a bank on Beacon
Street for a threat that occurred on 8/1 at approximately 3:00 p.m. At that
time, a customer had threatened an employee stating he had a bomb in his
backpack. Surveillance footage will be provided to officers when available and
the subject was contacted and advised that he would be summonsed to court for
Terroristic Threats.
3:30 p.m.: An officer responded to an address on Village Way
for a report of harassing phone calls. The officer contacted the number that
had been used to make the calls and requested they call the Brookline Police
Department.
12:58 p.m.: A query of a vehicle’s registration revealed the
registered owner’s driver’s license had been suspended. A traffic stop was
conducted on Washington Street. It was confirmed that the operator was the
registered owner and he was issued a citation for Operating After Suspension.
