11/08/2015-11/10/2015

Overnight from November 8 into the 9th there were three motor vehicles broken into in South Brookline, two on Beverly Road one on Walcott Road. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and to not leave any valuables in plain sight.

On November 9th officers responded to Saint Paul Street for a report of a larceny of a bicycle. The victim reported locking the bike overnight to a street sign and returning to it the next day to find it missing. This matter is still under investigation.

On November 9th officers responded to a report of a Breaking and Entering of a motor vehicle on Wolcott Road. Victim reported that her vehicle was unlocked overnight and someone came rummaged through her vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was parked in a driveway and noticed it missing the next morning. Victim was able to give a description of the items stolen. This matter is still under investigation.

On November 9th a resident of Beverly road came to file a report at the station for a Breaking and Entering of a motor vehicle. The victim reported leaving her car unlocked and upon returning from the gym she noticed her car had been rummaged through, this matter is still under investigation.

On November 9th a resident of Codman Road reported a breaking and entering of a building. Victim reported her family went on vacation and came back to find things missing.
 
On November 9th a resident of Brook Street reported their baby stroller was removed from their front porch sometime since the 7th.

On November 10th officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the intersection of Boylston and Hammond Street. Officers observed a vehicle make an illegal U-Turn, and pulled over the vehicle. Officers were able to determine that the driver had a suspended license with no criminal history. Officers issued a citation for the illegal U-Turn and the officers issued the driver a summons to court.
