6/5/2015-6/9/'2015

On June 5, 2015 an officer was dispatched to Walnut Place for a report of identity theft by attempting to file taxes under the resident’s name.  This matter is still under investigation.

On June 5, 2015, an officer was dispatched to the Brookline Police Department for a walk in larceny report. The victim reported his bike and lock stolen which was attached to a parking meter on Pearl Street. This matter is still under investigation.

On June 7th at 1:35am an officer was conducting a traffic stop at Boylston street for a vehicle speeding. The officer observed the vehicle swerving lanes. Based on the evidence at the scene the subject was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest.

On June 7th at 12:19am a vehicle was reported broken into. Some personal property was stolen from the vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

On June 7th at 9:00 PM an officer responded to a report of suspicious activity. Officer spoke to a home owner who noticed windows were cut open. The home owner decided to file a police report, this matter is still under investigation.

On June 8th at 12:43 AM an officer conducted a random query of a vehicle. Upon doing so the officer noticed the operator’s license was suspended. The officer pulled over the vehicle and arrested the defendant.

On June 8th, 2015 an officer assigned to the front desk of the Brookline Police Headquarters, received a report that a victims bicycle was stolen in front of a garage. The bicycle was locked in to a bike rack. This matter is still under investigation.

On June 8th 2015, an officer assigned to the front desk of the Brookline Police Headquarters, received a report from a victim that his wallet was stolen from his vest on Harvard Ave. This matter is still under investigation.


On June 9th 2015, an officer responded to a burglary on Pleasant Street.  The house was going under renovation and the owner was noticed that door was kicked in. The contractor working on the house noticed that several of the company’s tools were missing. This matter is still under investigation.
