Police Reports August 14, 2014
On August 14, an officer was monitoring traffic on Beacon St
and Pleasant St when he observed the driver of a vehicle texting while driving.
The vehicle was stopped and the officer asked for the driver’s license and registration.
The driver’s license was suspended and the driver was arrested and given a
citation for texting while driving.
On August 14, officers responded to a call for an erratic
driver along Boylston St. Shortly after, the call was now being reported as a
minor crash. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Beth Israel
Hospital. The driver will be summonsed to Brookline District Court for a charge
for OUIL.
