On March 25, officers observed a vehicle backing up in the wrong direction on Beacon St. with its rear right tire going up over the curb. The officers conducted a traffic stop and were able to see a stun gun box in plain view behind the driver’s seat. The officers conducted a pat frisk and discovered a security tag remover and a stun gun on the driver. A search of the car revealed two more stun guns and tag removers and a bag of clothes. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Stun Gun, Taser; Receiving Stolen Property; and a One Way Violation.

On March 25, an officer observed a vehicle travel at a high rate of speed on Harvard St. and run through a red light at the intersection of Harvard Street and School Street. The officer initiated a traffic stop and observed that the passenger was not wearing a seat belt. The officer looked up both parties and found that the passenger had a warrant in effect. The passenger was placed under arrest and charged with a seat belt violation and default warrant. The driver was written a citation for a red light violation and was sent on his way.

On March 25, an officer responded to Pleasant St. for a report of larceny. The resident reported that the building’s foyer was empty around 4pm but when she returned at 5pm a package that had been delivered for her husband was open and its contents had been removed.
