Update on Drug Violation 09/05/2013

On September 5, 2013 two men were arrested after officer s received a tip that they were receiving a shipment of drugs. The two men, ages 40 and 48, concocted an elaborate scheme in order to accept their drug shipment. The men booked a room at a Brookline hotel where they had the package delivered containing approximately twelve pounds of marijuana. The box was lined with a thick wood-like material and contained eleven plastic bags filled with marijuana. Dryer sheets lined each marijuana filled bag in order to hide the smell. Unfortunately for these two, Brookline officers were on scene to witness the delivery and take custody of the package and the suspects. Both suspects were arrested and will be facing charges of Possession of a Class D Drug with Intent to Distribute.
