Police Reports 5/29-5/30

Arrest: 5/30 at 10:01 AM- Warren St., Brighton

An individual was placed under arrest at Brighton High School for a warrant out of Brookline District Court.

Arrest: 5/30 at 7:41 AM- Egmont St.

An individual was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Dudley District Court.

Sector 1

Arrest: 5/29 at 8:21 PM- John St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had an extraditable warrant out of Indiana. The officer initiated a traffic stop on John St. The operator was confirmed to be the registered owner and he was placed under arrest for the warrant.

Sector 3

Shoplifting: 5/30 at 1:00 PM- Beacon St.

A Radio Shack employee reported a shoplifting. The employee stated that a male subject concealed items in a bag and left the store without paying. The suspect was described as a light skin black male in his 40s, 6’0”-6’3”, mustache, wearing light colored blue jeans, a white long sleeve shirt, sunglasses and a white bucket hat. A search of the area for the suspect yielded negative results.

Sector 4

Arrest: 5/30 at 2:47 PM- Washington St.

An individual was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Roxbury District Court.

Sector 7

Operating after Suspension: 5/30 at 12:04 PM- Clyde St.

An officer observed a vehicle proceed through a red light without stopping. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Clyde St. A query revealed that the driver had a suspended license. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Sector 8

Burglary: 5/28- Yarmouth Rd.

An individual reported a breaking and entering in the area of Yarmouth Rd. The victim stated that at approximately 12:41 AM on 5/28 she received a text message from a neighbor stating that he witnessed two males and a female in the victim’s driveway. The neighbor also told the victim that he could hear some type of saw being used on the property. When the victim returned to her property she discovered that the back door had been forced open and two toilets and two AC/Heating units were removed.
