Police Reports 2/24-2/27

B&E Motor Vehicle: Occurred on 2/26 at 6:50 PM- Parkway Rd.

A Parkway Rd. resident reported a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The witness stated that he heard glass break and looked out his window to see three people breaking into his vehicle. The witness described the suspects as young looking and that they fled away riding bicycles. A GPS unit was taken from the vehicle.

Arrest: Occurred on 2/26 at 4:24 PM- Boylston St.

A Mercury sedan was traveling on Boylston St. with an expired inspections sticker. The officer conducted a traffic stop at the corner of Boylston and Sumner St. A query of the operator revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest and was issued a citation for Operating after Suspension and Expired Inspection Sticker.

Arrest: Occurred on 2/26 at 1:50 AM- Washington St.

A vehicle was stopped at a red light. A query of the vehicle revealed that the registered owner had an active arrest warrant. The officers conducted a traffic stop on Washington St. It was confirmed that the operator was in fact the registered owner, and he was placed under arrest for the warrant issued out of Dedham District Court.

Arrest: Occurred on 2/25 at 8:16 PM- Beacon St.

A black BMW was traveling on Beacon St. A query of the vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had a suspended license. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Beacon St., and it was confirmed that the operator was in fact the registered owner. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 2/25 at 4:19- Harvard St.

An employee of a Harvard St. Stop & Shop reported a shoplifting incident. The employee stated that he observed a subject exit the store without paying for items that were in his carriage. After being confronted by employees, the subject fled from the store towards Auburn St. The employees were able to give a description of the subject, and a short time later an individual matching the description was stopped on Washington St. The employees were able to identify this individual as the shoplifter. The subject was placed under arrest for shoplifting.
