Arrests:
Occurred at 8:19 AM (5/17) – Princeton Road/ Lagrange Street
Officers conducted a traffic stop for an illegal left turn. Officers learned that the subject did not have a proper Massachusetts license to operate. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating with not duly license.
Occurred at 2:50 PM (5/17) – Harvard Street
Officers responded to a report of shoplifting from a local store. Upon arrival officers learned that a female subject had been stopped by a plain clothed employee. The subject had been caught placing several items into her purse without paying. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting.
Occurred between 2:17 AM (5/18) and 2:45 AM (5/18) – Beacon Street
Officers conducted a traffic stop for a red light violation. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject had consumed alcoholic beverages earlier in the evening. After conducting field sobriety tests officers learned that the subject was operating under the influence of alcohol. The subject was subsequently placed under arrests for operating under the influence of alcohol.
Occurred at 2:42 AM (5/18) – Boylston Street
Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject’s license to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.
Occurred at 2:56 AM (5/18) – Harvard Street/ Green Street
Officers conducted a traffic stop for a defective break light. Upon investigation officers learned that both parties within the vehicle had consumed alcoholic beverages earlier in the evening. Officers also learned that the subject’s license was suspended and that there was marijuana in the vehicle. The subject was placed under arrests for operating under the influence of alcohol, operating after suspension, possession of class D with intent to distribute, violation of drug free school zone, and possession of class E.
Burglary:
Occurred between 11:00 AM (5/17) and 12:30 PM (5/17) – Stearns Road
Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon investigation officers learned that the victim returned home to the apartment and noticed a male subject standing in front of her door. When she confronted the man he stated he was looking for a friend and then left. The subject later realized that a few pieces of jewelry were missing from her bedroom and there were pry marks on her apartment door.
Occurred between 11:30 AM (5/17) and 4:15 PM (5/17) – Alton Place
Officer responded to a report of a burglary. Upon arrival officers learned that there was forced entry through the front door to access the apartment. All three bedrooms within the apartment were ransacked and several items were missing. The apartment was processed. While investigating officers learned that the neighboring apartment door was also damaged and items were also missing.
Occurred between 4:00 PM (5/17) and 11:00 PM (5/17) – Kent Street
Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon investigation officers learned that a subject had entered through a bedroom window. The apartment appeared ransacked and there were several items missing from the apartment.
